A person can have everything they want in the world, but if they don’t have a relationship, then they can feel as if they have nothing, as if they are not complete. Even if a person doesn’t have a lot of material possessions, but they are in a relationship, then they can feel complete, therefore being in a relationship is everything to them.

2. They Have Someone They Can Rely On- Another reason why many people believe that being in a loving relationship is everything is because they have someone they can rely on. For example, when a person is in a relationship and they feel as if they need emotional support on a specific day, then they can likely get it from their partner. This is just one of the many examples of how a partner can rely on another partner.

3. It Makes Them Work Harder- A lot of people feel as if they can push themselves harder and work harder when they are in a relationship. If a person feels as if they can work harder when they are in a relationship, then they usually can get more things done and be more efficient in many areas of their lives. This is why they may think that being in a relationship is everything.

4. They Like Taking Care Of Someone- Another reason why being in a relationship is everything to many people is because they like taking care of someone. They enjoy being the breadwinner or buying their partner dinners, doing their grocery shopping, paying their bills and things of that nature. Some people like to be depended on, and when they feel depended on by a partner, then they feel completely feel fulfilled.

As you can see, there are quite a few reasons why many people consider being in a relationship everything. There is nothing wrong with people thinking this, as long as they are in a healthy relationship and both them and their partner are happy. If both are happy, then being in a relationship may be everything to both of them.
